Physical-Chemical reference material

ielab reference materials are obtained through Proficiency Testing Schemes accredited by the Spanish National Accreditation Body (ENAC), in which a great number of national and international laboratories take part.

Each of these laboratories that are partaking in Proficiency Testing Schemes have different working methodologies, which gives very robust results.

For the production of these materials, the standards established in the ISO GUIDE 34 and in the document ILAC-G -12:2000, which indicate the general requirements for all the reference materials producers.

Most of our reference materials have a natural origin, and analyte concentration levels similar to real samples that are performed in laboratories. Necessary homogeneity and stability tests are made to these material to calculate he property value according to the standard ISO GUIDE 35.

The certificate that accompanies the material fulfils the established requirements of standards ISO GUIDE 31 and UNE 82131:2003 IN including the corresponding homogeneity and stability study, the statistical study of results and the concentration and uncertainties of the provided analytes.

All the provided material comes with the corresponding Certificate of Analysis and use instructions.

Quality guarantee: For its production the standards established in ISO GUIDE 34 are followed, statistical criteria defined in ISO GUIDE 35 have been used to obtain the property value and the certificate fulfills the norm ISO GUIDE 31.

Natural: The greatest part of the provided materials are of NATURAL ORIGIN, allowing to reproduce customary testing conditions.

Stable: The stability of the samples is proven according to the established under standard ISO 13528:2005, being analyzed by a method accredited under the standard EN ISO/IEC 17025.

Homogeneous: Statistical studies are carried out of the variability as it is established in ISO GUIDE 35 and according to the IUPAC protocol, being analyzed by a method accredited under the standard EN ISO/IEC 17025.

Flexible: Materials for various matrixes and with many different parameters are available.

The matrixes of which reference material are produced currently are the following ones:

  • Drinking waters
  • Sea waters
  • Waste waters
  • Sludges
  • Sample capture solutions
  • Sample supports
  • Soils
  • Dielectric oils (PCBs)
